Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 8–10 large lettuce leaves (romaine or iceberg)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté 2–3 minutes until softened.
- Add ground beef and cook, breaking apart with a spoon, until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Lay lettuce leaves on a flat surface. Spoon beef mixture into each leaf.
- Top with cheese, tomato, avocado, and sour cream.
- Serve immediately.
