Ingredients
- 500 g ground beef (or minced steak)
- 2 tbsp coconut aminos or tamari (low-sodium soy sauce alternative)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp erythritol or monk fruit sweetener
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 head butter lettuce or romaine leaves
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant (30 seconds).
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Stir in coconut aminos, rice vinegar, and erythritol; simmer 2–3 minutes to thicken slightly.
- Remove from heat, mix in green onions, and spoon into lettuce cups.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve immediately.
