Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a medium baking dish.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
- Add ground beef, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Spread beef mixture evenly in baking dish. Top with half of the crumbled bacon.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs and heavy cream. Stir in 1 cup shredded cheddar. Pour over beef.
- Top with remaining cheese and bacon.
- Bake 20–25 minutes, until golden and set in the middle.
- Cool slightly before serving.
